Madison Monuments Granite Cemetery Markers
BUILDING LEGACIES - CREATING MEMORIES - CELEBRATING LIFE
Granite is one of the most popular choices for headstones and grave markers due to its attractiveness and durability. Madison Monuments provides many size and color options to choose from for your loved one’s memorial.
Granite Slant Markers
This style of cemetery monument is called Slant headstones or markers due to the slanted face of the memorial. Generally raised about 12-16 inches from the ground, the slanted face is presented at a 45-degree angle. This makes the monument easier to read as a visitor approaches your loved one’s resting spot from a distance.

Granite Bevel Markers
With a pitch of approximately 2 inches, these lower-lying memorials are slated at a slight angle where the back of the marker is slightly higher than the front. The slightly slanted face of a Granite Bevel grave marker, also known as a pillow marker, makes the monument easy to read when standing at the foot of the gravesite.
Granite Flat Markers
Commonly, bronze plaques are affixed to flat markers on marble or granite bases. They are also known as Grass Markers or Flush Markers because they lay flat or flush against the grass at the gravesite. Flat grave markers are often used to identify individual resting places within a larger estate plot.
